No blogging? No branding?
Why the Break from Blogging & Branding?
I’m blogging to say I’m not blogging or working on branding!
I’m TEMPORARILY not writing about:
- SEO tips and resources or latest changes in search;
- Social Media and the importance of conversation, listening, engagement;
- Online Reputation Management or social media monitoring or analytics;
- Fantastic people in the search industry;
- Conferences or workshops recently attended;
- Online Marketing classes I’m taking;
- Me.
…except this short blog post.
2009 – a Year of Change!
The break was semi self-imposed:
- I engaged the majority of my time to a couple new projects that require most of my attention and creativity.
- A few select clients get the next slice of SEO consulting time.
- Successive engagements (conferences, vacation, computer failures, under-the-weatherness, bike rides) have taken junks of time this year.
- The insatiable quest for keeping up with the latest information about SEO and Social Media (Conversational SEO) has consumed a lot more.
- Development of Affiliate Marketing initiatives are increasingly getting slices of time.
- Add 3 online classes to the mix…
- Add the current learning curve of Thesis WordPress theme!
- Must not forget lots of Social Media engagement!
Thus, there’s been little time for blogging and branding.
Thus, DanaLookadoo.com sits…dormant, temporarily!
Let’s Engage on Twitter
Let’s engage, however! You can find me on Twitter @lookadoo.
I won’t tweet away about me, either. I’m really interested more about you, what you’re doing in SEO and Social Media. I look forward meeting you!

“I’m blogging to say I’m not blogging or working on branding!”, a real funny way to put it..haha
Looks like you are pretty busy on alot of stuffs but your posting were great indeed.
Thanks for the awesome posts.
Derrick, thanks for taking time to comment on a post of not much content!
There are seasons in life where the opportunity cost is blogging. Hope you’ll return soon as the site develops.
Dana,
ROFLMA! Love the blog entry! Can’t wait to connect more. I totally hear ya on finding the time to keep up with all the tech and regular life as well. Totally my mission, figuring out ways to make the tech stuff more manageable so there’s more time for that life thing.
Nice to meet you.

Andrew, now you have ME laughing! Yes, that “life thing” – must work on prioritizing and finding an app that will either slow time down or put more hours in a day!
Want to share a diagram that summarizes a great concept for those of us who juggle a lot at one time and have to make a decision on which avenues get our priority: “How to be happy in business – Venn Diagram.” Goal is to be in the “HOORAY” intersection of doing “what we do well” + “what we want to do” + “what we can be paid to do!”
Thank you for taking the time to comment. Do look forward to meeting you in-person and was excited to learn earlier that we’re neighbors!
